He never missed an event...you could always catch him on the sidelines, in the stands, or even the holding the chains at a high school football game. He was a proud member of the West Tech chain gang!
Hence, in his honor, the WAYNE C. SMITH MEMORIAL Golf Outing was established in 1994. This event is attended by over 70 golfers every year and we are grateful for their participation in a very special day for the Smith family.
WELCOME...to the
WAYNE C. SMITH MEMORIAL website. As a memorial to our father and husband, we wanted to have the opportunity to express our love for him with an annual event on or near his birthday. Although he was not a golfer, this is a competitive sporting event, and he loved to watch people compete. Those that knew him can appreciate the joy he had in watching his kids and their friends play sports and participate in activities.
